As you may know, I am a short track speedskater with the ambition of making it to the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, China. I am 27 years old and from Fairfield, CT where I trained with the Connecticut Speedskating Club. After high school I moved out to Salt Lake City, UT where I train on the US National Team.
With Olympic trials right around the corner, in December of this year, my training and equipment are more important than ever. This doesn't leave me with a lot of time to work, and while my parents do as much as possible to support me, it just simply isn't enough. The cost of skating equipment combined with training and living expenses is why I need your help!
Why am I worth it? I’ve been competing in the world cup circuit for the past eight years. I am a World Cup gold medalist and currently ranked 2nd overall in the 1,000 meters, 4th overall in the 1,500 meters, and 10th overall in the 500 meters. I also hold the American Record in the 500 and 1,000 meters distances, along with my teammates I also hold the American record for the women’s 3,000 meter relay and mixed team relay events. I always strive for greatness, and I will work as hard as I can until I make my Olympic dreams reality. So lets get together and make them happen!
